The culmination of a twenty-year dream, this magical sculpture of Stonehenge is unique. There is no other replica of the ancient ruins on the Salisbury plain as beautiful or accurate. It is as though Merlin himself visited the Stonehenge site and conjured up a tribute - a weathered crown of sparkling silver mirrored in a timeless pool of black granite.
The replica consists of sixty-six separate sterling (.925) silver castings forming a 6-inch circle. They are mounted on a base of polished black granite measuring 11 inches wide, 14 inches long and 1-1/2 inches thick. All stones are attached to the base utilizing cast posts, each set in holes drilled into the granite. The sculpture sits atop turned ebony feet and is protected by a special display cover. The height of the piece, with the cover is 7-1/4 inches.
